Dr. Usha Pillai
Director
Dr. Usha Pillai is the visionary founder of IDEA Foundation. With a Ph.D. in Education and Development, her journey started with a deep concern for marginalized children’s access to quality education. The findings from her doctoral study inspired her to launch IDEA Foundation in 2002, with a mission to address dropout rates and educational inequalities. Over the years, Dr. Pillai has led the organization with unwavering dedication, expanding IDEA’s work to include skill development, women’s empowerment, and holistic community development.
Rahul Deshmukh
Program Manager – Educational Support & Skill Development
Rahul leads our education and skill development programs, ensuring that our initiatives align with community needs and deliver impactful outcomes. With a background in education management, he has extensive experience in designing and executing programs for children and youth in underserved communities. Rahul is committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
Anjali Mehta
Head of Community Outreach & Engagement
Anjali’s role involves building strong relationships with local communities and ensuring that IDEA’s programs resonate with the people we serve. With over 10 years of experience in social work and community development, Anjali works tirelessly to identify local needs and implement programs that bring about meaningful change in education, health, and women’s empowerment.
Suresh Nair
Finance & Operations Manager
Suresh oversees the financial health of IDEA Foundation and ensures that resources are effectively managed to maximize our impact. With a background in finance and accounting, Suresh ensures transparency in our operations and is responsible for managing donor relations, budgeting, and reporting. His commitment to accountability is critical to our success.
Mr. Rohan Patil
Skill Development Coordinator
Rohan specializes in vocational training and capacity building. He manages our skill development courses for youth and women, helping them acquire marketable skills and become economically independent.
Ms. Priyanka Joshi
Volunteer Coordinator
Priyanka is responsible for managing our volunteer network. She recruits, trains, and supports volunteers, ensuring they have a rewarding experience while contributing meaningfully to our initiatives.
Ms. Kavita Rao
Finance and Administration Head
Kavita oversees all financial operations, ensuring transparency and accountability in fund utilization. Her role is crucial in maintaining the organization’s financial health and sustainability.
Mrs. Sunita Tiwari
Communications and PR Manager
Sunita handles all internal and external communications, managing our public image and spreading awareness about our work. She leads our social media campaigns, newsletters, and outreach activities.
